First of all, congratulations on deciding to expand the size of your system. If you don’t feel comfortable going back to the original provider who installed your panels another solar company can install extra panels. One thing to keep in mind is that you may currently be under the “Sale of Excess” billing configuration. Adding new panels will shift everything over to “Buy All, Sell All”. When you contact the other providers, ask them to confirm and to provide a comparison of your current RE credits vs what they would look like after the expansion.
